It's actually probably after Halloween by the time you read this, but that's okay because we really like Halloween and wish it could be year-round.

To that end, we may have gone a little overboard on all the Halloweeny stuff in Ooblets...

We've previously shared our spooky Nullwhere region and its resident Creep Cultists:

As well as some of the local fauna, like Glanter:

But this month we've added a Halloweeny-themey shop in the town of Port Forward, which we've called Vampire Bento:

It's where you can go to buy spooky furniture, decoration, masks, clothing, ooblet accessories, and some other junk.

We had our pal Bree Lundberg design a store logo for it which turned out to be super cute:

There's also a bunch of non-halloweeny big things we've been working on, you know, if there's any interest in that sort of thing...

I'm not going to do a full devlog because I'm thinking it might be a good idea to give certain features their own devlogs throughout the month instead of packing everything into end-of-month devlogs, but here's a little taste of what we've been working on:

Crafting and crops balancing

Progress on overarching story mechanics

A bulk goods quest board system

New forageable items like shells, corals, mushrooms, and more

There's a bunch more but we'll try to share it in more detail throughout the month.

Thanks so much for reading and being a part of our Ooblets journey!!
